The product is designed around a simple principle: users should understand the visual effect of every control they touch. That is why the interface emphasizes before-and-after comparison and small preset previews.
We prefer a workflow that separates choosing from generating. Users first decide on an image, a style, and parameter intent, then explicitly run the conversion.
Speed matters, but clarity matters more. A converter that is technically fast but visually confusing creates worse outcomes than a tool that guides users toward better parameter decisions.
The current version runs locally in the browser so users can inspect source images and ASCII results without sending files away just to experiment.
